Cosfest 08: Iron Man

I’m probably the last blogger on earth to blog about the Cosfest which happens exactly 1 week ago. Nevertheless, here’s my report of it.
Cosfest 2008, which happened ages ago, is my first time at a cosplay event! No really, I have being to 0 cosplay events due to the lack of time because of cosplay events are held in the weekend. Well, luckily for this, I managed to find time to get down to Downtown East for some lolitas, kawaii~chantachis.
But before I do that, I shall bring you an upclose personal shot of Iron Man, AKA Tony Stark, putting on his uniform.
Well, my friend and I, whom I accidently met there, was walking around the area with me. We have finished taking his photos while I have too. Both of us were stalking after Mikuru Bunny when I told him that there was a bunny girl. He was desperate to find it. Alas, we did. And he managed to take photos of the overnight-famous-Haruhi too. Me too. That will be posted tomorrow..
Back to Tony Stark.
Iron Man probably knew that the US of A is safe and sound (ya right) in the hands of Hancock. Villains are afk due to the powers of the godlike super hero. So, I.M flew over to Singapore via SQ 380 and went straight to Downtown East in hopes of finding villains to fight. But before he do so, he has to put on his armor. Here’s some behind the scene shots of him putting it on:
Bet you never knew that Tony had the technology to turn himself Chinese. And who’s the babe?
The Singapore Police Force was engaged by him to protect this VIP. I find it that the SPFs are wasting their time. Their tons of guns can’t be compared to the powa that I.M has.

Finally, we get to see the face of the pretty lady. It was later known that Tony decided to marry his secretary, and employed an Asian babe to be his next. She’s the one:
The guy in the blue, touching up the helmet of I.M, should be the seller. And oh No!! The secretary is staring at me.. >_<
As the lot prepares to sortie, waves of power keep coming out of I.M. My camera got affected by it:
IT’S THE WAVES!!!
On the technical side, the armor itself isn’t really that good. From far, yes, it’s shiny, glossy, woot..etc….But because of the fact that the armor wasn’t design properly, this made the user walk with uneasiness. Every minute or two, the whole SWAT team has to stop so that I.M could be touched up.

Being curious, one of the SWAT officers wanted to know if Stark had six packs:
The following scene is gonna be the most embarassing scene for I.M:
Tapping up the armor right in the middle of everyone is not funny stuff for I.M.
Well, he’s lucky that some Star Wars girl wanna take pictures with him despite the embarassement:
Girl: Lick it!!
Tony: No, that’s your job.
Girl: @55hole!! I shall chopped off your hand!!

Thank you for taking pictures of Mr Stark. Mr Stark will like to express his gratitude to you for your coverage. US$1 million will be sent to you tomorrow.
Mr Stark also wish to inform the armour he is wearing that day is the prototype 1.0543b which explains the falling of parts and lack of mobility. The real armour was damaged in the last battle with the Iron Monger.
