Tiny Red Man

My friends just came back from a trip to Taipei, the second Japan, where the main country, Taiwan, seems to be heavily influenced by Japan due to World War 2. My previous trips to Taiwan landed me around the South of the country, Kaohsiung. The trips were mainly for temple purposes and sometimes, performances for the temple choir. Well, that’s my trip. I’m not going to talk about it though cos it isn’t related.

As mentioned, my friends came back from a trip from Taipei, and one of them, knowing the kind of guy I am, bought me stuffs. Yes. Animes, manga related. Here’s a pic of the stuffs I received:

I read a chapter of it, skim thru it, and overall, find it kinda “OMFG!!” All I can say is that they have rather good imagination revolving a single vocaloid. Some pics from the doujin itself:

“Suzumiya Haruhi de Yuutsu” The Japanese “no” got replaced by a “de” from Chinese. BOOOOO >o< Piracy. More pirated goods coming right up:

A “Peace & Pieces” eroge DVD. Note the “18″ sign at the top left hand corner. It’s totally different from the ones sold at Singapore’s Popular bookstore, where there was no “18″ sign on it.

And this eroge retails for around NT$200, which is around……SG$9. And there’s a member price of NT$180. Sooo….Definitely pirated eroge.

The DVD-ROM itself was quite cheapskate too. It wasn’t the “Print on DVD” kind of print, but instead, was a “Print on sticker, stick sticker onto DVD-ROM” kind of print. And the sticker wasn’t quite good either. Paper quality sticker. Those kind whereby it can be affected easily with some moisture. Definitely not safe for an eroge as stuffs will be flying around, flowing here and there.

Oh, btw. When my friend passed me the bag of stuffs, I was kinda surprised at the bag:

Animate…If I remember correctly from reading posts of people going to Akihabara, “animate” seems to be a place where they will definitely go. I’m kinda surprised they opened a branch in Taipei. For those interested, the address is below:

When I asked my friend how “animate” in Taipei looked like, he gave me the following description (some parts may be wrong):

At level one, it was your ordinary anime goods. DVDs, figures, etc. And then, as I was walking around, I found a stair leading to level 2. And it was “OMFG”! All your Adult videos are there! I quickly jumped through that section and headed towards level 3, where all the eroges are. And I nearly nosebleed. =3

Personally, I think the “Peace & Pieces” eroge was bought somewhere else and not at animate. Unless, that’s a pirated “animate”. :/ As for whether I will play the game? Well, it depends as my DVD-ROM can’t read it. And the Newtype April Issue DVD too.. T_T Which reminds me……..May issue is OUT!! Time to waste money. And Code Geass R2 seems to reign all anime magazines for the coming Spring, as how Gundam 00 reigned throughout the Winter anime season.

P.S: Somehow, when my mum saw Shana and Haruhi, she said,”How can you look at girls?!” angrily. But the kind of angry isn’t that kind of really angry angry, but a more tsun tsun angry. Lol.

My reply was,”Erm..I’m a guy. I’m supposed to look at girls. Dun tell me you want me to look at guys?”

She didn’t talk for a second. Lastly, she commented that Shana was cute and Haruhi was beautiful, which truly made my day ^_^ Without watching the animes themselves, she seems to be attracted to both, especially Goddess Haruhi whereby she had me to bluetooth to her phone, tons of Haruhi images I got from buying a Haruhi book. So…somehow, Haruhi has the power to control the everyday human. All Hail Haruhi~~ WHERE’S SEASON 2? Back to Code geass R2 I guess..for now~~
