Hey guys, check out the RSS Feed at the bottom left of my sidebar. It’s going to be my new avenue to “blog” about my ramblings about work, and a bit of a logbook about what I did in work in case my boss or colleague ask me.

I tend to be forgetful about many things, and when I’m being questioned about some stuffs, I always forget. So, this log will prove as an evidence of what I have done, even though my colleague or my boss will question about the reliability of that. Anyway, screw them.

Btw: The mini “blog” is linked to Google Notebook. It allows users to keep notes online, share them with friends, make a public site out of it. I did the “publish to web” thing, unsure if there’s an RSS feed. Luckily, it did ^_^

Out of boredom and due to the fact that I have to wait one whole week for an episode of Rookies to air, and probably another 24 hrs for the RAW to come out, I bought the whole set of Rookies manga. And it’s a second hand set.

So one day, I was walking home one day, tired from a day’s work. With my ear piece plugged in, I listened to my anime songs as usual. Out of nowhere, someone grabbed me from the back and covered my mouth. As I’m very small in size (1.5m), I’m an easy target to grab and run. At that very point, I thought I was going to be kidnapped. I tried shouting, but to no avail. My voice can’t reach out to anyone! Shit!!

As they didn’t cover my eyes, I could see where they were bringing me to. It’s to a dark alley where only nekos will roam at night. They slowly put me on the ground, but still with their hand on my mouth. Then, one of the “kidnappers” said,”I’m going to let go of my hand now, but before that, I have a question to ask of you.”

Dumb-folded, I stared into their eyes and nod my little head.

“Are you an otaku?”

Staring straight at their eyes, my jaw dropped. “WTF!!!!!!! IS THAT ALL YOU ARE ASKING ME?!!! WHY BOTHER THE FREAKING “KIDNAP”?!”

With that said, I lowered my anger and voice. Somehow, there wasn’t anyone in that area that we were in. Only stray nekos. “So what if I am? Well, not really a full-fledge one, but a half. Are you happy? What’s up with this anyway?”

Soon, the three “kidnappers” started introducing themselves as the directors and researchers for some company, and they would like me to take part in a survey, or research. I was told to do a 1hr test with them, and most of their test questions were mostly like which kind of girls do I think is moe, or the personality of the girl that I like.

Upon finishing the retarded test (not as retarded as the ones CMPB gave), I was told that in 5 days time, something will come. Initially, I wasn’t too sure of what they meant and if what they said can be trusted, but still, gave in to them and waited patiently for the “something” they promised. And today, I present to you, the “something“.

Minutes ago, one of my friends MSNed me. He told me that I could check my army enlistment date online. So I did. I clicked on the link he provided, and was told to enter my IC number, birthday, etc….

And there it was.. Even though I wished I didn’t see it, or nothing appeared there, a fact is still a fact.

Good afternoon Mr TINY RED MAN.

Your enlistment date is on 13-Sep-2008. Your reporting unit is TRAINING LIST BASIC MILITARY TRAINING CENTRE SCHOOL 1.

There we have it.. T_T Anyway, it’s still a long wait till then. And I bet many people will be enlisted on this date too, though some of my friends got 12 Sept. Is anyone training for NS? I’m kinda worried that I die in Pulau tio Tekang Tekong due to the exhaustion. But some of my other friends who already ORDed, including my elder brother, said the training will be progressive, as compared to those who passed NAPFA.

Well, that’s that. I received a call an hour ago from my house, stating that my FIGMA Yuki has touched down in front of my computer. Will be doing a post on it. But before that, I still have a Gundam 00 portrait figure post to do.

Ahh..So many posts. >_< Till then, I’ll be AFK because I have other things (such as website for my previous company) to do. Ta Ta For now. (Time to chiong watching Army Daze….=0=;;;)

As of coming Friday, 25 April 2008, I will be quiting the current job and hop onto a new bandwagon to join another company as a packer.

Yes. Why the sudden jump?

Well…It’s a little long story and I don’t feel like talking about it.

Why a Packer? Isn’t the job of an admin a lot more easy?

The packer job offers more money per day($50 per day) . I had already went there to work a few times, that is after my morning job as an admin ended, and it was quite the easy job. But it’s the same as other jobs out there: Do it once, do it right. Time does not matter.

Yes, I do understand that this is somehow, the dream job of many alike. And I’m damn lucky to have found a job like this (From the comments from the “Waiting for the Letter” post, it seems that way). Still, when something has to go, it has to go.

Ok…so you made your point. Did you tell your boss about it?

Yes I did. At the beginning, I told him about me part-timing for both jobs. He told me this,”Jeremy, I know your meaning in part-timing for both jobs. But I rather you quit this job and do the other job if they pay you well enough. Pls do not forget that the transport fee from here to the other location will be expensive too. Overall, the amount of money needed to cover up the transport fees equate to the amount of money you earn. Furthermore, we have known each other so well (Btw: we came from the same temple), and I try to understand you too. ”

At this point, I was going T_T. Tears….Ya right. BOOOOO >o< I was kinda confused at that point, happy and sad. Still, getting the nod from my boss, I told him that I will consider it. And today, I called him to tell him that I will work for him till this Friday. Until then, I hope to finish up their new site. No, it isn’t html coded, nor any CSS involved. Don’t even mentioned php or other IT technical terms. It was simply made using Microsoft Publisher (So much for a design student T_T).

So, why are you writing this post?

As I will be going off soon, someone will need to replace me. I’m offering this job and whoever is interested pls leave a comment below and I will tell my boss about it. Below are the job scopes:

1) Basic Microsoft Excel usage to type in quotations, invoices, delivery orders.

2) Working hours are be 8.30am to 1pm (daily) or 8.30am to 5.30pm (every Monday, Wednesday, Friday). Pay will be according to amount of hours work per day. $5.50/hr.

3) Basic fax machine usage.

*Note: Before I go off, I will write a manual on how things work over there. It’s like a secret manual martial artists use to learn all their martial arts/kung fus from*
